Scholarships

Fountain Park United Methodist Church
Scholarship Programs

Fountain Park UMC offers two generous scholarship programs established by several long term members.  Using monies donated from the Clarence and Ella Keller estate, a scholarship fund in their name was established in 1989.  The second major donation was from the estate of Bernice Staege and was used to establish a scholarship program in her name in 2005.

The scholarships are awarded to recent high school graduates or to adults wishing to advance their careers by taking further post-secondary courses.  The recipient must have been a member of Fountain Park Church for at least two years, through confirmation, transfer of membership, or statement of faith.

Applications are available and the Scholarship Committee reviews the applications and usually selects around 5-10 recipients each year.  Scholarships are awarded in May.  Further information can be obtained from Scholarship Committee Chair, John Winter.
