Special Services

Fountain Park offers a variety of special services throughout the year including Lenten Services, Hymn Sings, Outdoor Services, Christmas and Easter Services

On Easter morning Fountain Park United Methodist Church joins with St. Luke UMC to hold a true sunrise service on the shore of Lake Michigan at Deland Beach shelter next to Broughton Drive.  The service usually begins around 6:00am depending on the scheduled sunrise.  This 30-45 minute service includes the Sacrament of Holy Communion.  The service and the sacrament are of course open to everyone.  This simple service might be cold (But not this past Easter!), but it is always glorious as we see the sunrise while celebrating the Sonrise!  Jesus is alive!  He lives forevermore!

On May 16 we were pleased to welcome three new member into our congregation through their confirmation of faith.  We welcome Matthew Baughman, Brandon McGettrick and Matthew Stokdyk.  The confirmation program at Fountain Park Church is a 2-year program typically offered to our seventh and eighth grade students.  For information, please contact the church office.
