Vacation Bible School

At Fountain Park United Methodist Church we have a Vacation Bible School (VBS) program every summer from age three through 5th grade with the opportunities for middle & high school students and adults to assist with the program. The children learn about God's love for everyone through scripture by rotating through Bible stories, recreation, crafts, music, misions, snacks, fellowship and along with that comes making new friends and renewiing friendships.

Easter Program
Fountain Park Sunday School presented "Twas a Time Before Easter", an Easter pageant. It presented a thumbnail version of the story from Palm Sunday through the Resurrection and Jesus' appearing to his followers using poetic narration in the pattern of the Christmas poem by Clement Moore.
Christmas Program
| The Sunday School students presented a performance of "A Snow White Christmas" on Dec. 20, 2009. This was a special service in the evening beginning with a pizza supper, moviing to the sanctuary for the play performance and back to Fellowship Hall for cookies, punch & cocoa. "A Snow White Christmas" was based on the fairy tale with Snow White, the Evil Queen and her mirror, and the Seven Dwarves. |

| In a nutshell: The Queen banished Snow White from her kingdom because Snow White wanted to worship Jesus rather than the Queen. The Queen monitored Snow White via her mirror, and discovered that Snow White and the Dwarves shared the REAL story of Christmas - Jesus' birth. This moved the Queen to repent and invite Snow White and the Dwarves back into the kingdom to share the story with everyone there. |
Sunday School

At Fountain Park UM Church we offer a variety of Christian Educational opportunities for every age from 3 years old to 103 years old. The Sunday School hour is from 9:45-10:45 each Sunday morning with a few exceptions for ALL AGES. The Sunday school program is taking a summer break from June 6 - September 12, 2010.
We offer a Special Sunday School Music Time for Preschool to 5th Grade on one Sunday a month for a music time to learn new songs ~ |
sing old songs and praise God through singing ~ DVD’s which also includes a Story time exploring the Children’s Library to experience the books ~ DVD ~ videos ~ CD’s that the library has to offer to learn about the love of Jesus for ALL children.
Class time is from 9:45-10:45 with the curriculum Group Publishing Co “Fathweavers” which teaches the Bible and how to apply it to today’s world which is used for Children’s Sunday School ~ Preschool through 5th Grade from September-June.
| We offer a “Ride to Sunday School” through our FPUMC Van Shuttle Service. We will pick up within our “neighborhood radius” for Sunday School and take home from Sunday School with 2 Approved Adult Safe Sanctuaries Drivers. |

Summer Camp
Summer camp means fun for youth and adults of all ages with memories to last a lifetime. There is a camp for everyone at the great United Methodist Camp facilities! From family camp to horse camp, canoeing to stargazing, sports to praise… they have plenty of outdoor fun for everyone. God is with us wherever we are!
