Happy Hearts

Happy hearts is a fellowship for seniors--a place for seniors to get together, talk, share stories, and enjoy dinner and entertainment or program. Past entertainment and programs have included slide presentations, music, informational speakers from police department, nursing home and the like. It meets every other month. Next Happy Hearts - Wednesday, August 11th at 11:00am
The August program will feature "The Silver Belles Dance Troupe."  The group has been together since 1990 and participants range in age from 67-86 and the minimum age to join this energetic group is 62.  The Silve Belles generally perform approximately 45 times each year at various senior centers and assisted living residences.  Their show theme this year is "Colors."  Each song will feature a reference to color and you might even hear "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" in the mix.  You don't want to miss this program.  This is our summer picnic celebration!  The luncheon is free and open to the public.  A free will offering is generally taken.  Make your reservations today by calling Marie at 452-5442. 


 

Wednesday Bible Study

Bible Study01 Pastor Kerry Wilson leads a Bible study on Wednesdays for members and non-members alike. The last study for this year will be Wednesday, June 9.  Check back in the fall for the new schedule.  Anyone is invited and encouraged to attend as often as possible. During the season of Len the group will be adding a few hymns and responsive scriptures to their time of study.  PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF THE BIBLE IS NOT NECESSARY!


Sunday School

At Fountain Park UM Church we offer a variety of Christian Educational opportunities for every age from 3 years old to 103 years old. The Sunday School hour is from 9:45-10:45 each Sunday morning with a few exceptions for ALL AGES. The Sunday school program is taking a summer break from June 6 - September 12, 2010.

We offer 2 Adult Sunday School classes which each Sunday offer completely different topics of discussion which are open discussion with an open invitation to ALL who want a better understanding of the Bible and Today’s world.
We offer a “Ride to Sunday School” through our FPUMC Van Shuttle Service. We will pick up within our “neighborhood radius” for Sunday School and take home from Sunday School with 2 Approved Adult Safe Sanctuaries Drivers.
